Summer Fun Shaker Card
Hi crafty divas! Here today with lots of SUMMER fun! Woo-hoo!
Now quick to making ^_^
I did a full front pannel shaker card. So I started out from die cutting the front pannel which is actually to be the shaking part. For that I used my die cutting machine and CDD die.
I attached the accitate to both pieces using sticky stripes. Then I put sequins mix (mixed from multiple mixes) inside one part and using foam tape attached the second part to it.
Then using the die I draw its shape on the piece of card stock & cut it out with the help of scissors.
(I also cut small piece that I'll later use as connection between pannels).
Using stamping tool I stamped the surfers' image on to pre-cut piece.
To apply distress inks I stamped the image once again on thin piece of papper and cut it out. I attached (using glue) it to the image. I also taped the edges of the whole piece to keep them white. After that I applied distress inks (peacock feather + salty ocean) hiding "sky".
I also did some water splashes.
When I removed all the masking parts I did the coloring. I used color pencils. (Kept the surf board white as I love lately to keep some parts white for a cool affect).
After that I stamped the sentiment (from the same set) straight on top.
This is when I used the pre-cut small piece to attach pannels together with glue.
And here it's done! Looks so absolutely cute, isn't it? ^_^
Seen you soon with more inspiration!
