Mermazing ombre
Hello crafty people!
Want to share with you mermazing ombre card as a part of CDD Mood Board Challenge.
This month colors are so very pretty, I'll show you soon. But first...
I started making my card from cutting out the right piece I needed for background using my trimmer tool and Canson card stock. For the the coloring I've picked (unusual for water) colors.
It was totally mood board colors' inspiration.
I used a mix of Distress inks and Oxide ink, doing the ombre style from bottom dark pink to up light one. Using piece of paper for the edges of different shades.
Then I put lots of water splashes using spray tool and paper towel.
For this card I picked MERMAID LAGOON clear stamp set.
I stamped the image onto the card stock with the help of stamping tool and Memento black ink.
Then I colored it. I use pencils a lot, and this time also. Picked colors to match the background.
Attached the image to the background with piece of foam tape to make it pop out.
Then I picked the sentiment from the same set, and stamped it straight to the background.
For the final touches I did the "sun lights" with white gel pen.
And added drops in water bubble style.
