Shake it up!
Hello and welcome back to CDD Creative Challenge & todays topic is Shake it up!
And I want to share with you my full front pannel shaker card. Sounds interesting? Then you are at a right place.
Now let's talk about making.
To start with I cut the card base using my cutting tool. And did pre-cutting for shaker element on the front pannel of the card using INSIDE SCALLOPED rectagle die (tip: when cutting I didn't fully insert paper part between the blocks to have one side not being cut). I also cut the outside part of the shaker element.
Using sticky tape I attached the accitate pieces. Put sequins in between parts (tip: to have shades I wanted I picked up sequins from two sets and mixed). To finish shaker element I put 2 layers of foam tape and attached the parts together.
Then I moved on to inside part of the card. And first thing I did was stamping images creating a camping scene using HAPPY CAMPER stamp set, Memento Dye Ink and stamping tool.
I also stamped the same images at sticky tape to use as masking pieces.
When I masked the images I applied Distress Inks (black soot and iced spruce - at the top, mowed lawn - at the bottom). After that I splashed water on top to pick up some color.
I also covered bottom part and sprinkled white watercolor paint.
I then removed the masking pieces.
And stamped the sentiment using VersaFine black ink and stamping tool.
For coloring I used pencils (tip: color pencils blend better if I go from light to dark shades)

For final touches I added Glossy accents to so parts of colored images (like noses and sticks).
Now here's a close up look at the finised card.
